MV Review Day(MVRD)~BTS ‘FIRE’

Hey guys♡~

So seeing as today is Wednesday  this post shall be a MV review,
I honestly am not sure what to review on as I’ve still not seen some New MV releases so I shall be writing my review on BTS-Fire MV.

Firstly the song itself is literal fire (no pun intended😂).The rapping gets you off your feet; especially J-Hope’s rap verse in the beginning~!!
The vocals are amazing as always and I especially loved V’s end parts where he goes BOW WOW WOW with that deep voice of his.👌

Secondly, the choreography is hella dope (pun intended this time round).It flows so well with the music and the beat. BTS always seem to have such amazing choreography. I don’t know how they manage with their busy lives but the dance for this song is truly awesome. If I had to pick a part of the dance that stands out the most its defiantly towards the end where more people join them in the dance and they are shouting “hot” (which actually sounds like ha ha HAHA..) 🙂 all in all I love the MV, I love BTS and I loved the choreography,their clothing and vocals…everything was amazing!

If I had to star it for a review….

Celebrating 8 Years With SHINee!!~~

Sooo can you tell what today’s ‘Kpop Talk’ is going to be about or nah? ^_^

8 years ago today, one of Kpop’s legendary groups debuted.

25 May 2008, Inkigayo.

As a hardcore SHAWOL, I am proud to say that the boys have grown and improved significantly these past eight year, both as individuals and as ONE. 

Since their debut, Shinee has released nine full-length albums (five Korean and four Japanese), five mini-albums, three live albums, and various Japanese singles as well as Japanese remakes of their Korean releases. They have also won several awards, held four concert tours and starred in their own reality shows. They most recently came back in Korea with their fourth studio album Odd which contains songs such as ‘View’ and ‘Odd Eye’ and in Japan with DxDxD, their fourth full-length Japanese album. As well as all the group comebacks, some members has individually pursued a solo career this year; Taemin with his first studio album Press it which features the title track ‘Press Your Number’ and Jonghyun with ‘She Is (Good)’

Hopefully SHINee stay with us for a long time and continue being their amazing selves and each growing as a group and individuals. They still have a long ways to go, and though the road up ahead of them may be obscure, with Shawols right by their side, you know they will soar to great heights.

Congrats Boys on your successes these past eight years! May there be many more to come. ❤

Chloe’s Journey Into The Wonderful World Of Kpop

Hi guys,

My name is Chloe. I’m the amazing cousin that Kiera mentioned in her first post. I’m 17 and I do various things in my spare time besides Kpop. For example, I dance, I draw and I like cutting up clothes (DIYs). I am now going to be Co-Admin of this blog as Kiera previously mentioned and for today’s ‘Story Corner’ post, I am going to tell you guys how I got into Kpop!!

So it all started when… *cue dreamy harp music and flashbacks*

In the year of 2010 during my first year of high school, a friend showed me SHINee’s Lucifer and I got hooked on the dancing right away (mainly cause of Taemin and Key) and I remember thinking that they were Japanese as I saw the japan version of their MV’s first and then google told me otherwise when I searched them and found out they were Korean. So I decided to find out more about Korean music or what I should call it (later realizing it’s called Kpop…) thus I came upon Bigbang’s ‘Haru Haru‘ (Day by day) MV and I later became a hardcore VIP downloading every Bigbang song that I missed out on. I still have an SD Card full of just Bigbang songs. Anyway, I then went on to look at the other artists in YG Entertainment and from then on I was sucked into the black hole of Kpop and I still haven’t been able to escape since. ^_^ Not that I’d want to anyway~

I remember B.A.P debuting and that’s when I came away from Bigbang-although I’m still a VIP, I fell in love with B.A.P right from their debut MV and I followed them since 🙂 My two main biases from B.A.P are definitely Daehyun &Bang Yong Guk .. and my biases from Bigbang is T.O.P, GD and recently Taeyang as well.

Since then my knowledge of Korean music has been expanding dramatically and I even listen to genre I don’t normally listen to in English such as Rap/Hip Hop. I’ve also been so wowed by the dances that I’ve learned them and it’s great fun..unless you try to copy skilled dancers like Taemin or try do BTS’ choreography >_< That’s like signing you own death wish right there !!! No thanks O_O

But Kpop has given me so many inside jokes to tell with other Kpop fans and it’s certainly changed the things I like and even my fashion style has changed (somewhat) but I take nothing back I even dragged my best friend into Kpop #NoRegrets 😀

Anyway I’ll save my other Kpop stories for a later post 🙂

I haven’t posted in a while yet I promised I would. Ahhhh I feel bad 😦  😂

Time to explain myself. So I’ve been busy studying and revising for my exams so I can go to college and I’m in my last year of high school and it’s been so stressful. Despite all that, I’m surprised I’ve been able to keep up with all the latest comebacks and debuts and OH MY GOD THEY ARE AMAZING but I’ll post more about that later hehe  ^_^

So even though I’m still in the middle of doing my exams, I have found more time on my hands to actually post and keep you guys up to date so this is how its gonna go (yes I actually planned out a schedule of what to post and when to post it)

 

Monday- Story time. I’ll post in the ‘Story Corner’ category. Here I’ll post random stories or experiences that I want to share with you guys 🙂 

Tuesday- Kpop Talk. I’ll post this in the ‘Rants and Kpop Talk’ category of my blog. In this category I’ll write about comebacks and my opinions on recent controversies and news. I’ll also rant if necessary because that’s kinda my thing lol.

Wednesday- Album/MV/Kpop Reviews. Obviously you can tell where this is gonna be posted and it’s content. 

Thursday- On Thursdays there isn’t a specific thing I will be posting. So I guess you can call this ‘Random Thursdays’ Here I’ll post about literally anything and everything (In ‘Random Thursdays’ category)

Friday- Recommendation Fridays. I’ll post this in the ‘Recommendation Fridays’ category and I will talk about songs, products etc. that I recommend to you guys.

Saturday- Style Saturdays. I’ll post it in the ‘Style Saturdays’ category and write about idols style and clothing from M/Vs and such.

 

Unfortunately I won’t be posting on Sundays because I’ll be busy….either sleeping, eating or studying….

No but seriously I’ll be busy studying or with family…however if I feel it is necessary to post then I will so keep your eyes peeled guys.

Starting from next week I will be posting in these categories and keep you guys up to date. Please don’t forget to spread the love and share my blog with others.

The first page is the ‘About’ Page. On this page, it briefly tells you what my blog is about and what I wish to achieve. On this page is also links to all my social networks where you can be updated elsewhere.

The second page is the ‘Rants and Kpop Talk’ Page. This is simply a page where I post rants about things that are simply annoying. Other things that will be on this page will be my opinion on recent scandals and things like that. I may also include polls.

How I got into the wonderful world of KPOP

Hello!

It’s me again! Today, I shall tell you the wonderful story of how I got into Kpop (*YAY*)

It all started in 2010/2011 when my amazing cousin, Chloe, showed me Bigbang. I didn’t listen to any songs, she just showed me who they where. At this time, I was 10/11 years old. It was all just fancy music in another language to me. I didn’t care one bit. It wasn’t until B.A.P debuted in 2012 and my cousin (Once again) showed me B.A.P’s ‘Warrior’. I thought it was cool and that the dance was just TOO hard. I wasn’t a fan of Kpop until I was introduced to BigBang in 2012. I was seriously impressed at the musicality of there songs. BigBang’s ‘Sunset Glow’ ( Or ‘붉은 노을‘) is what you would call ‘My first kpop song’. Suprisingly, this song is still one of my favourite songs today. After that, I started listening to other groups such as 2NE1, SNSD, SHINee and even B.A.P. I went through little phases where I liked one group more than the other and I stanned them more than any other group I listened too. At first, it was BigBang. My bias was GDragon and eventually my T.O.P wrecked my bias list and became my bias in BB(He still is…)

The second phase was B.A.P. I stanned them so much it was unbelievable. My first bias was Youngjae and I remember almost crying one time when my cousin stayed over because he was just tooooo perfect. My bias list eventually changed and Himchan being the cutie-patootie and hot piece of flesh he is, became my bias. My current bias/es right now is/are Youngjae AND Daehyun. This is also because I may or may not ship DaeJae…

WHO WOULDN’T SHIP THAT??? WHERE DA FANFICS AT PEOPLE?

Anyways, the next phase I went through was SHINee. I was majorly obsessed with Key and Taemin. Like, seriously obsessed… Not like a saesang though…them peeps are just plain crazy. I even shipped JongKey and 2Min. I remember watching SHINee’s ‘Hello Baby ‘ and dying even more because it was just one of those shows that made me fall in love with them more. Especially Onew and his crazy love for chicken…lol.  Suprisingly enough, my first SHINee song was ‘Hello‘.

Next was a mix of groups, I was all over the place with my music and I was a big YG stan. I never really stanned anyone from JYP or SM (not majorly anyway) not until EXO debuted in 2012 and I watched Kai’s teaser first and thought ‘Damn this guy is seriously hot and his face is just OMG’ . When the music video was released I thought to myself that I was never gonna remember any of the members, but I did. At that time, the phrase “One cannot simply have ONE bias in EXO” was too good to be true. My bias changed nearly every month. My first bias was Kris, which is why it was upsetting when I found out he had decided to leave but nonetheless, I supported him like a loyal fan. My next bias was Luhan, which is why it also came to a suprise when he left the group as well. I think all the members of EXO where my bias at least once. However, Baekhyun has ALWAYS stood out to me and has suprisingly stayed as my bias for a long time. I ship KaiSoo the most because they too good to be true. I even ship Baekhyun with his goofy yet lovable girlfriend, Taeyeon of SNSD.

Right now, and for quite a while now, I stan BTS (Bangtan Boys) that are under the label, Big Hit Entertainment. I actually stanned them the same time I stanned EXO but BTS seemed to catch my attention more later on. The first song of BTS’s that I heard was none other than ‘No More Dream’. I had fallen for V and he became my bias. I even shipped V-Hope. It was when BTS released their ‘Boy In Luv’ MV that I had fallen for Jin. Later on in the same year that MV was released, Jungkook also became my bias. I currently ship nearly everyone in BTS with each other but mostly TaeJin. I even get freaked out whenever BTS interact with EXO. Like when V and Baekhyun took that selca that was uploaded onto BTS’ Twitter page ( @BTS-twt ). I was screaming. Actually, it was more screeching and me trying to catch my breathe because I had mentally died and couldn’t think straight.

Right now, I stan BTS, GOT7 and VIXX the most. My biases (currently) are Jin and Jungkook from BTS. Mark, Youngjae and JR. from GOT7 and Leo and Hongbin from VIXX (Who I also ship).

Besides from these groups, I listen to many other groups. There are actually too many to be listed.

So, now that you know my journey through kpop and its wonderfully strange yet intriguing ways, I guess it’s time to say goodbye.

Hello everyone! :)

Hello everyone! So, just started my blog and actually I am super nervous about it. (*Ken’s voice* Ottokajiii).

Now, let me tell you a little bit about myself and what this blog is gonna be about. My name is Kiera and I’m 14 years old (Born 8th July 00 whoop whoop!) I am half English and half Irish but have lived in London all my life. I am the eldest of 3 sisters and one highly annoying brother(ughhh). I also have many, many cousins and luckily one of those cousins is the amazing and wonderful cousin that got me into Kpop. I have long(ish) dark brown hair which I have dip-dyed red (It changes quite often lol) and people often tell me that when I smile I look a bit like SNSD’s maknae, Seohyun (“SELCA! SELCA! SELCA!”) I love studying languages (A bit fluent in Korean and French) and music and have played piano since I was young.

To be honest, I’ve always wanted to start a blog but never had the guts too until someone finally told me to go for it and that no one can stop me. I am not really that good but I really, really love writing. On this blog, I shall post rants, reviews, fangirl things and more like lyrics and Group profiles. I shall also post recommendations (Dramas, shows, songs etc.) and sometimes polls and also some music playlists.

My next post shall be about how I got into Kpop and groups I listen to. Please don’t be afraid to ask me questions. I would also appreciate it if you guys can kinda help me a bit because I’m not really use to this yet (Newbie syndrome…) I’ll make it someday *sigh*
